About

WHAT ARE WE
Central Yorke Engineering is a family owned and operated business based in Arthurton. We also provide a mobile service to the Central and surrounding districts of the Yorke Peninsula
We are passionate about the agricultural and transport industries. We have good knowledge and understanding of farm practices and machinery and have had substantial experience with trucks and trailers.
Repairs and maintenance are a large part of our business along with the fabrication of new equipment. Ideas and scribbles can easily become a reality with the ability to understand even the most complex of projects.

WHO ARE WE
Introducing Chris (BROOKY) Brook partner and operator of Central Yorke Engineering. Born in Ardrossan, he grew up near Pine Point and now lives in Maitland. Brooky married in Oct. 1995 and they had three children; Mackenzie, Stephanie and Mitchell.  Chris enjoys sailing and caravanning but is a self-confessed workaholic and leisure days are rare.
After growing up on the family farm, Brooky started his Boilermaker apprenticeship with ETSA in Adelaide; he transferred to Armac Welding in 1991 where he gained a wealth of knowledge from Randy Dutschke. Still wanting to learn more, Brooky then left in 2000 to further his knowledge and experience and worked for an earthmoving and transport company as well as a farmer, both in the Central Yorke District, where he gained invaluable knowledge of farm and transport equipment. He then returned to work at Armac Welding in 2007 until leaving in 2012 to start Central Yorke Engineering
